Enhanced Data Entry:

  • Pre-populates fields for new events (species, description, rod, reel, line, lure, technique) based on your entry from the last entered event. This eliminates entering data that doesn't change frequently and gets you back to fishing faster!
  • Enhanced Data Entry is enabled by default but can be disabled from your Preferences menu.
  • Buttons for saving, updating, sharing, and deleting an event now display on all Capture/Review Event tabs instead of just the Event tab.
  • Pictures and video can now we be attached to both new and existing events to help improve data input options.

Other Functionality:

  • Want to show your buddies your mad fishing skills? You can now share fishing events by clicking the "Share" button on the Event screen to share via Facebook, Twitter, Email, or text message.
  • Take a picture of your catch but forget to do it through Fishin' Buddy? You can now attach pictures or video to existing events when you go back in to review past trip events
  • Wonder what the largest fish of a given species you've caught is? Fishin' Buddy includes a Trophy Room to see the heaviest and longest catches as well as the trip in which you caught the most of each species
  • Want to export your trips to share with friends or review on your PC? Fishin' Buddy includes the ability to export trips and their events to Google Maps or Google Spreadsheet (simply hold down your finger on a trip from the Review Trips list)
  • Planning a fishing trip? Fishin' Buddy also includes a Trip Planner where you can enter a start/end dates and location of a future fishing trip and it will provide you with solunar times for fishing on each of the trip's days for that location (Requires that Fishin' Buddy Solunar be installed on the device). You can also add the trip to your calendar.
